Gurmit Sandhu
I am a dedicated professional focused on reducing the disease burden for patients through ethical and meaningful innovation. With an MSc in Medical Informatics from FHNW (2023), I specialize in AI, data ethics, governance, medical device regulations, and cybersecurity. My research explored using a dashboard for decision-making in digital health technology assessment, collaborating with the Malaysian Health Technology Assessment (HTA) agency.
Before transitioning to digital health, I built a strong foundation in clinical sciences, progressing from a public health pharmacist to Global Brand Director at Novartis AG, and later as a marketing expert in rare diseases at Actelion Pharmaceuticals. Passionate about leveraging AI and big data, I aim to enhance patient outcomes, streamline clinical processes, and drive digital transformation in healthcare.
